Hi
There are a lot of old Tektronix scopes at very cheap prices. Be very
careful on some of these as they are not supported by Tek any more and they
have proprietary parts no longer available. As a former Tektronix employee I
would never think I would say this but you may be better off buying one of
the import analog scopes than an old Tek scope off of ebay. Of coarse if you
are looking for a digital scope and you have a large bank account you may
want to look at a new or couple of year old Tek scope. The old scopes like
the 453, 454, 465, 475 and the 7000 series I would avoid. The CRT's,
attenuator parts and many of the IC's and semiconductors are no longer
around for repair of these scopes.
