[Elecraft] BNC Connectors

I have avoided BNC connectors like the plague, but time has come to 
capitulate.  I have been told that I can get information on this from the 
ARRL handbook, but I do not have one.  I want to make up some cables using 
BNC male connectors, but I do not want to make up the flimsy type where you 
twist the coax on.  I understand I need to buy the packages of BNC parts: 
tip, main barrel that has a crimping sleeve, and crimp ring.  I also need a 
crimping tool.  I have seen packages of these male connectors, but they seem 
to come without the crimp ring.  Can anyone tell me what kind of 50 ohm coax 
to buy, what size crimping tool (make and where to get it), and where to 
obtain the packages of male BNC connectors with crimp rings?  Since these 
packages may not come with crimp rings, what size crimp rings do I need for 
the coax you suggest?  Thanks for your help.
