[Elecraft] Selecting filter OPT1, increasing S-meter ??

Hello Elecrafters,
I build a brand new K2#3195 with the options AF, NB, BATT and AT2.
All seems to be working fine. (tnx Gary for some explanation about some
things)
This weekend I put the SSB adapter in. The CW signals were sounding the same
as without the adapter.
So far so good, but when I put on the OPT1 in filter settings, the S-Meter
increased with 3 bars from the left. Realigment of the s-meter didnt help.
Also noise level sounds harder than before.

After testing I noticed the following: All tested with a dummyload. Top
cover closed.

3 bars on S-meter only in LSB mode, fl1=opt1, on 80-40-30-20-17 meterband.
(2 bars on S-meter in cw/usb mode.)
3 bars on S-meter only in USB mode, fl1=op1, on 15-12-10 meterband.
(2 bars on S-meter in cw/lsb mode).

When I do not use OPT1 setting in filter aligment all bars on s-meter were
gone.
Also the noise level sounds weaker. Is this perhaps okay?
Are there more people experience this?

I played with T2, when I touched it the S-meter was increasing by 2 more
bars.
I spread the caps between the windings of T2, nothing happend till I make a
big cap next to the green wire and the red wire. the S-meter shows now 2
bars. But that would not be the solution.
How do I know my T1 and T2 from SSB adapter are working correct?
Also those little RFC1 and RFC2, what will happen when some windings will
short each other because of scraping the wire against the core ?

I hope someone out there got all the answers.
Many thanks and 73.
