Ed,

If you download the KSB2 Manual and look on page 18, you will
find all the pinout combinations for the various microphones
that have been used. The exception is the table for the
Elecraft MH2 (Heil) microphone. For the MH2 there is a 5.6K
resistor added across pins 1 and 6.

I saw a question from someone looking for Mic pinout
connections.  The answer was a link to a page showing all
KENWOOD mic pinouts.

1.  Does this imply that the K2 uses the same pinouts as
Kenwood?

2.  Does this also imply that Kenwood mics will work with the
K2?

Thanks in advance for the answers.  Hopefully, my K2 will
arrive shortly and I'll be able to start construction.
Meantime, I'm trying to glean all the info I can about it's
oddities.
