[Elecraft] Mic connector

I saw a question from someone looking for Mic pinout connections.  The =
answer was a link to a page showing all KENWOOD mic pinouts.

1.  Does this imply that the K2 uses the same pinouts as Kenwood?

2.  Does this also imply that Kenwood mics will work with the K2?

Thanks in advance for the answers.  Hopefully, my K2 will arrive shortly =
and I'll be able to start construction.  Meantime, I'm trying to glean =
all the info I can about it's oddities.
