[Elecraft] Keeping the battery charged

You could use a socket like that which is on the K2 RF board.  If you
have both the KBT2 and KPA100, you should have an extra socket, since
they each provide one.  Just wire a cable from that to your power
supply and plug it into the battery cable when the top panel is removed
from your K2.  Come to think of it, I'll do that myself. 

Alternatively, clip leads should do the job.
