[Elecraft] Keeping the battery charged

Guys,

My question was oriented toward the approach to use when the KPA spends most of 
it's time in the radio and the low power PA/Battery lid spends most of it's 
time OUT of the radio.

In this configuration, I don't have a power connector on the lid, except for 
the internal battery connection that plugs into the main board.

I was curious if anyone had come up with an approach to deal with this 
situation.
