[Elecraft] Keeping the battery charged

Guys,
My question was oriented toward the approach to use when the KPA spends most of
it's time in the radio and the low power PA/Battery lid spends most of it's
time OUT of the radio.
In this configuration, I don't have a power connector on the lid, except for
the internal battery connection that plugs into the main board.
I was curious if anyone had come up with an approach to deal with this
situation.
