You are measuring the voltage drop across the diode used to protect 
against reverse polarity.  All is normal.

>          The voltage readout on my K2 seems low!  I am using an Astron RS-35M power supply and the voltage is set at 13.8 vdc.  I get the same reading at the rear of J3 on the RF board (2.1 mm DC barrel connector)  But the display on the K3 reads 13.2 vdc with 0.24 a of current.  My DMM says the supply voltage is 13.8 and the current on receive is 234 ma. The current seems right, but shouldn't the display read out the supply voltage?
