[Elecraft] K2/KPA100 lockup

Hi all.

I finished the KPA100 and it has checked out fine up until
page 46 of the manual.

I am using it with K2 #769.

At the top right of the page, I says to Use the mode switch
to select CW mode etc.

Well, I press the mode switch and the K2 went to L (lower
SSB) and has been (the K2) locked up

ever since. 

None of the switches function. The only thing that works, is
the power control, which displays .1 to 15 w, as it should.

The display is stuck on 7.1000 L.

The 'Elecraft' display on start up works okay.

If I hold a button on turn-on, it DOES NOT show the version.

 

Any assistance? Ideas?
