The manual suggests an alternate alignment method using a DVM on the external speaker jack to determine best signal to noise ratio while adjusting L34.  Has anyone tried this method?  Is it correct to assume one is also listening through headphones for the background noise as the DVM is going to show the combination of signal and background noise??
