I would start by writing down the filter settings (ie. the frequencies).
After you have those down, follow the manual and do the alignment steps in
sequence.

There are some alternatives for aligning the filters and L34 given the
items you mention. There is an alternative to aligning C22 on the control
board using an external receiver and WWV on 20MHz. If you have an external
frequency counter, that can also help fine tune the setting C22. Alignment
of the bandpass filters can be done using transmit mode with the K2 feeding
a dummy load with a needle-based watt meter in the line. The external watt
meter allows you to more easily see smaller changes in output power than
that seen by the LED's of the K2.
