Hi Pat,
Use your diagonal cutters to cut the plastic bar in several places so you can possibly remove a few leads at a time as a group.
Don't force it though. If worse comes to worse, cut all the lead apart and unsolder them one at time. Then reassemble them on the
bottom of the board. The plastic bar keeps the pins together for convenience and adds some stiffness, but the pins alone will serve
their purpose of interconnecting the boards if they are carefully aligned.
