Do not try to remove the connector intact, use your clippers to break the
plastic between the pins and then remove the pins one at a time. Then order
a replacement from Elecraft. It is much better to sacrifice the connector
than run the risk of lifting a pad on the board. Just heat each pin and
gently pull the pin out. You can use the solder sucker or solder wick to
clean out the holes after the connector pins are removed.
