Hi, 

Name here is Jim, call is WX9J, I am really interested in the K2 you
have and would like  to know if you are still in possession of the unit
and if so will you sell it to me ?

I had a Kenwood 850AT but the unit became unrepairable due to a defect
in the board design (beware of the kenwood rigs ) so now I am off the
air and will never own another rig that is not built here in the usa and
can be fixed by a ham.

I am not what you would call disabled in most the broad sense of the
word but my eyes have failed me to a point where I can no longer handle
the building of most electronics. I am well past the days of my kit
building and so the rig being built is a big plus for me.

However the point is probably mute, as the rig is probably gone by now
anyhow, in any event, look into the Jupiter by Ten Tec. as an
alternative rig for you.

If you dont mind my asking, what is it that you are limited by in your
shack ? My wife works in the VA hospital with disabled vets and so I get
to make a lot of McGiver gadgets and such, perhaps I may have some ideas
of interest to you....
