Great!=20

There is a lot there. Let me ask you this - do you have
another receiver or transceiver already? That can be used to
compare with the K2. Depending on what kind of rig it is,
the K2 may be similar, or it may outperform the other rig.
At the least, the K2 should never be LESS sensitive
than any commercial rig out there.=20

As for transmitter testing, do you have a QRP wattmeter? You'll
need a good one to peak up the transmitter at 10 watts or
more. I can recommend the Oak Hills Research one at:

Yes, all very good ideas. My K2 had a sensitivity problem and I
went through the Elecraft tables with the RF probe and did not
see much that was obviously wrong. Scope shots, especially
around the post-mixer amp (Q22) would have been great to have.

I believe my rig is now fixed, and perhaps I will take some
measurements as a start.=20

I have an old military URM-25D signal generator. What I can do
is set the generator for x uV at the antenna jack, as measured
on an oscilloscope. Even though my attenuator on the URM has been
calibrated, this method (assuming your SCOPE and PROBE is accurate)
makes things easier.=20

I know where I can borrow a digital scope. Maybe I will try this
some spare weekend and we can put the results on the website for
unofficial reference.=20
