Bill:

I worked him this morning as well... 1303Z, 14038kHz, 589.  The band WAS 
open (from the midwest, of all places) into the Pacific and Asia (also 
heard 7M4BBQ, I believe, in what I think was Japan). BOTH signals were 
(amazingly) quite strong. The 3D2 gave OM2SA as his QSL mgr.

I worked him twice, once with N0SS at 100W and once with K0ETY (Mid-MO ARC 
Club call for which I'm trustee) at 5W. Got him on the first call both times.

As they say, "Work 'em first, worry later".
