Eureka...

Took off the right panel and found the ribbon cable between the Control
board and amplifier folded nicely on top of the SSB option board.
Repositioned the cable and the noise disappeared. FYI... the noise coincided
with the Tx data going to the computer which travels through that ribbon
cable.

Sure is nice to have the K2 in top form again.
