[Elecraft] No TX on ssb

Guys thanks for the information. I have went through the BFO set up a
couple of times and everything looks in order. The microphone is wired
correctly and W2 & W3 were removed before ssb module added. Voltages are at
proper levels as per troubleshooting charts in KSB2 instructions. No bad
solder joints either. Don't have a scope, but could likely could get access
to one.

The external antenna tuner which I have the K2 hooked up through shows power
out when TUNE pressed. In CW mode I have power out. When I talk into the
mic there is zero modulation according to the wattmeter on the tuner, but I
can hear myself on another ham receiver in the shack?

Could U5 on the KSB2 module which is the balanced mixer/modulator be a
source of this problem?

Ron,

I think I responded incorrectly. W2 and W3 jumpers were removed. I was
thinking about the jumper blocks on the back of the mic configuration pin
that I installed. Just didn't give it a second thought about which jumpers.

Ron,

Yes the jumpers are in place and also the 5.6k resistor.

That's the problem. The jumpers need to be removed. They are made to bypass
the KSB-2. When you install the KSB-2, you need to remove the jumpers.
