You gave relatively little input on your reasons behind wanting to pump TV
through your monitor, but 2 things to keep in mind....

1) You can run down to KMart or WalMart and get a TV, probably bigger than
your monitor, for under a hundred bucks.

2) The TV won't look all that great on your monitor.  It's not that it
doesn't work well, it's just that you are accustomed to seeing razor sharp
images on your monitor and TV has pretty horrid resolution.
