A jump of this level almost always implies that one (or more) of the filter 
settings are on the opposite side of the filter center. Recheck your filter 
BFO values and reset as required. For any particular sideband ("Normal" or 
"Reversed"), the BFO values should be either above or below filter center, 
but they should not change sides within a sideband choice.

Spectrogram will help you to get the set, but it still won't tell you 
whether they're set to the proper side. That you must determine yourself by 
first locating filter center and then ensuring that you've moved the BFO to 
the proper side of center before you use Gram to set things dead-on.
