[Elecraft] Tinning toroids with a solder pot

I've seen many mentions of problems with tinning the leads on the
Toroids. I had trouble with one bad connection when building my K1
and after that decided to do it the "wrong" way. I used my pocket
knife to carefully scrape the insulation off the leads and then tin them
before installing on the board -- I never had a bad toroid connection
for the rest of the building of the K1 or the subsequent K2.
