[Elecraft] N6KR 4 mHz oscillator Cal method

I did what Ken said and Don had mentioned earlier using Spectrogram with
markers at 500 and 600Hz. To double check I lined up the 1kHz ticking to
1kHz on Spectrogram and watched to see that the tone marking the minute also
spiked at 1kHz on the scale. I watched for many minutes and changed to
opposite sideband to see if they were lined up there as well, they were. My
K2 display read 9999.86kHz. I adjusted c22 until BFO and VCO matched at
14913.41 and 4913.41.

Then exited from CAL menu changed to 40M band with freq probe in TP2 and ran
CAL PLL. I ran CAL FIL the first time I did this, but this latest time I
didn't bother. I went back to 10000.00kHz hoping to see some improvement.
Still sounded off to me, so opened Spectrogram found my 500/600Hz tones and
1kHz pulse and minutely tone. They lined up exactly where I was in the
beginning at 9999.86kHz. I hit the CW REV to check the opposite sideband,
still right on. I have done this procedure 3 or 4 times so far with the
first ones performing CAL FIL following CAL PLL.

Question:

1. Am I missing something? Did I do something wrong here?

2. Is it possible something is wrong with my K2, i.e.., maybe not saving
changes etc.?

Thanks for your patience,
