Did you shift either the frequency or bandwidth of each filter setting =
when
you ran CAL FIL?=20
The firmware doesn't record new values unless it "thinks" you changed
something, so it's important to move either the frequency or bandwidth
parameter off of its desired value, then back again, at each filter =
position
to "fool" the system and make it re-write the values to memory.=20

Then exited from CAL menu changed to 40M band with freq probe in TP2 and =
ran
CAL PLL. I ran CAL FIL the first time I did this, but this latest time I
didn't bother. I went back to 10000.00kHz hoping to see some =
improvement.
Still sounded off to me, so opened Spectrogram found my 500/600Hz tones =
and
1kHz pulse and minutely tone. They lined up exactly where I was in the
beginning at 9999.86kHz. I hit the CW REV to check the opposite =
sideband,
still right on. I have done this procedure 3 or 4 times so far with the
first ones performing CAL FIL following CAL PLL.
Question:
1. Am I missing something? Did I do something wrong here?
2. Is it possible something is wrong with my K2, i.e.., maybe not saving
changes etc.?
Thanks for your patience,
