With this new method, getting exactly on a WWV frequency seems to plague
quite a few of us as I have been reading the thread. So I checked it out for
myself and set the 500 and 600 Hz markers on Spectrogram as previously suggested.
I tuned to the 10 and 15 MHz WWV frequencies in LSB and lined up the 500 and
600 Hz tones with these markers. The tones on Spectrogram alternated between
the two frequency markers every minute. I believe this puts WWV on frequency to
within at least 10 Hz. This method of getting a frequency standard to the K2
is about as good (accurate) as it gets. Roy Morris W4WFB
