Unfortunately logic does not apply here.  The FCC will approve BPL =
because they are motivated to support big business.  All the logical =
arguments and somewhat wishful thinking will not help.  They also do not =
respect the ARRL very much and, despite the League's efforts, their =
opinion will be rejected. All hams in the US should be contacting their =
Congressional representatives now and expressing their concern. The =
oversight committees in Congress should also be contacted. Hams should =
also initiate a class action law suit for the preservation of the H.F. =
spectrum.  It will take some organization and effort to keep our hobby =
viable in the face of this, the most significant threat ever to =
challenge Ham Radio.=20
