You rather missed my point. I was simply indicating that the added
convenience of having a separate amp to allow the basic K2 to be simply
"picked up" and put into the field is minimal -- because it is also a very
simple and swift operation to change the lids. If one wants separate
units, that's fine; there are a number of good reasons for doing this.
But convenience of the sort stated is not much of one.
