There used to be a text or HTML page on the Elecraft site
about why they "couldn't" offer a standalone amplifier for
QRP rigs. I can't seem to find it this morning. However,
this is probably the reason that Elecraft has made it=20
entirely a no-brainer to mate the KPA100/KTA100 and
leave the QRP K2 as-is. They've satisfied the FCC
rules because the KPA100 won't operate with another=20
rig (i.e. a "President" 11m rig).
