Dave, there is no reason to switch lids. These are two stand alone boxes.
K2 QRP and EC2 containing KPA100 and KAT100. In fact I even have the K2
with the KAT2 tuner inside. The AuxBus keeps everything in order. You need
to have a KIO2 on the QRP K2. So to sum it up: you need two boxes: 1) the
QRP K2 with KAT2 (if you wish) and KIO2 . . .and KBT2 (if you wish) and 2)
EC2 enclosure with KPA100 and KAT100. You merely disconnect two cables (RF
and RS232 Y cable) on the QRP K2 and you're done! Regards . . .Joe K4AA
