[Elecraft] Further K2 IOC ver. 1.02 Question

Never mind! I have a recently purchased KAT100 kit. I looked in there,
and it comes with the latest firmware and version 1.07 for the IOC. I'm
all set.

Sorry for the needless question, but thanks to those who responded. 73

It's usually the case that Elecraft will provide updated firmware along
with any option that requires it upon request. When I found that the
KPA100
required an SSB firmware upgrade after I'd already received the kit, a
simple request to Elecraft sales had it in my mailbox in two days, free
of charge.

You might as well write and let them know that you bought the kit and
forgot to request the upgraded firmware. Odds are good you'll get it
quickly.

I know that 1.02 was too old for the KAT100 to work --- K2 wouldn't even

recognize it being there.
