Roy,
A fine set of scopes made in the 1980's and often underpriced in ham swaps
are the Philips of Holland 32xx series, especially the 3260, 3244, 3217,
etc. They were imported by Fluke Instruments eventually, after Philips
gave up reps. in North America.

A 100 MHz scope from Philips with delayed sweep, two channels plus various
inputs for triggering may sell for $125 or less. It is a portable with
about 5 inch screen. Quality almost up there with Textronix, but they came
with world universal power supplies.

They had 12 volt inputs on some models as I recall. Very handy scopes
which we still use in the research lab. Nothing beats an analog scope for
certain jobs!
