Hi Earl,

You're absolutely correct on this point. I just reviewed the manual and I can
see that it is lacking in clarity regarding final AGC threshold adjustment. I'll
clarify the instructions in the next manual revision.

(Note: If the AGC threshold is adjusted, the operator must also re-adjust S HI
and S LO using the CAL menu.)

The meter should not be "stingy" when adjusted correctly. Gary and I will test a
few K2s and see if we can reproduce what you've described.
