Note that the audio is 2W into 4 Ohms with <10% THD.

The K2 specs don't say (webpage or manual PDF) but
the ARRL review measured 2W at 0.6% THD. That could be
one major factor here....

For info, the ARRL K1 review says 1.1W at a mere 0.3%
THD! Better than some home stereos!
