It seems to me that those who'd consider the expense of a second
K2 could manage dual-K2-receive by taking advantage of the t-r lines,
some relays, and the unused transverter BNC sockets in the K2s,
especially at 10W levels... Isn't it just a matter of doing TR
switching and protecting the sub-K2 when transmitting with the 
other one?

Sure sounds doable, but spending the money on a second K2
is daunting. Still less than a 1000MP!
