[Elecraft] K2 w/KSB CW reverse BFO

Thanks to N0SS, KC4KGU, W3FPR & K6SE for their replies.

Provided everything is set up right & the signal tuned in properly, 
toggling between
CW & CW reverse modes should result in no or little change in the tone of the
received signal.

My particular K2 appears to have some BFO crystals way out in left field, so
until a CARE package arrives from Elecraft, I shall live with my best "by ear"
tweaks.  There may also be some contribution to the problem by the US Postal
"Service" - radio is not sounding on arrival to me as it did for the 
gentleman who
sent it to me.
