[Elecraft] K2 side panels

Hello All:

I'm just about to order the KPA100 and KAT100 for my K2.  One configuration I 
don't think I've seen discussed is the one I would like to implement.  I'm 
wondering if longer side panels could be used to attach both KAT100-1 to the 
bottom of the K2 where the transceiver and ATU would be one unit?  Of course 
the feet would have to come off the K2 and there would be a small gap for the 
final mounting screws.  A totally new housing able to accomadate all these 
would be nice too but don't think that's one on the drawing board.

Would longer side panels work since it would be nice to have all these 
attached as one package?  Seems like a nice alternative to having the K2 
slide around on top of the KAT100.
