Hi

I don't remember what the drift spec is but removing X2 will improve it b=
y a factor of 2. It also will improve the frequency tracking of the PLL b=
ecause the swing is smaller for the same number of steps. Just make sure =
it will swing at least 10 KHz

So far I havn't noticed any real drift in my K2.  But then I come from a
time that if I had a a + or - 1khz readout with no more than 100 or 200
hz per hour drift on my receiver I thought this was (and it was) hot
stuff.

How much drift is typical in a stock K2?
Question two...
How much of an improvement is there after removing X2?
