[Elecraft] encoder not working!

Phil,

I had the same symptom with my K2. I thought at first that I had a bad 
encoder, but it turned out that I had broken one of the encoder leads, 
apparently due to flexing during installation. A touch of the soldering 
iron cured the problem. I hope your problem is that simple. Good luck!
