Most of the KPA100 can be built with the same soldering iron you used on the
K2.  Soldering the output transistors and input and output transformers will
require a soldering iron that has good temperature regulation (Hakko,
Metcal, etc) or a higher wattage iron.  My regular iron which is temperature
regulated was able to handle all of the soldering on the KPA100.

You could use a soldering gun on the emitter tabs if your regular iron can't
provide enough heat, but be careful not leave the soldering iron on this
area too long (5-10 seconds should be more than enough time to get a good
joint).
