[Elecraft] KPA100 Questions

Whoope! The KPA100 showed up today and now I'm deep in
manual reading and parts inventory. A couple of questions occur:

(1). Is there any particular reason for specifying an 800 deg
      soldering iron tip as opposed to the 700 deg tip for the
      basic K2?

(2). Should the higher wattage iron (soldering gun?) be used
       only on the Q1/Q2 emitter pads/tabs or on the C and B
       tabs also. Or will the regular iron be adequate ?
