[Elecraft] 40M/PLL Cal works...

Hi all,

Last night I removed the 'mod' for U4 pin 1 and 2 (10
pF cap across pins) and now the K2 passes the CAL PLL
routine.  

With the cap installed, the CAL PLL freq starts at
10973 (and fails).  Without the cap installed, the CAL
PLL starts at 12013 and passes...

I'm not sure why, since before you run CAL PLL, you
can run CAL FCNT and the probe reads the right
frequency on TP1 (VCO).  When you run CAL PLL, the
frequency jumps over 1 MHz down and the routine
fails...

Anyone else install the 10 pF cap and then tried
running the CAL PL  routine??
