Gangue,

Nicholas's success with his junk box mic has reminded me to ask if anyone
has a circuit for a small mic equalisation circuit.

What I want to try is to put a peak in the mic response at around 1.8Khz -
2.0 Khz rather a la Heil HC4 but using a standard electret mic.

Ideally a circuit which allows adjustment of the frequency and amplitude of
the peak would be nice. I cannot recall seeing anything like this. Plenty of
bass/ treble cut/boost but these are not what I want.

Any ideas?
