Has anyone tried fitting the FT-100 knob on a K1? Or have suggestions for
alternative knobs that will fit the K1? I've not actually seen a K2 up
close and personal, but from the pictures the K2's knob looks to be larger
that the K1's, and I can't tell if that larger size know would fit the K1.

Hmm.... While I'm asking, does any one have a suggestion for "taming" the
feel of the K1 tuning? I made the conscious decision to sacrifice the finer
tuning of the 80 kHz bandwidth for the larger 150 kHz bandwidth. I think I
remember someone previously suggesting putting a felt "gasket" behind the
tuning knob, introducing just a touch of resistance, saying that this
dramatically (am I overdoing it?) improved the feel and accuracy of tuning.
Does anyone else remember this, or have other suggestions?

Thanks everyone!
