Tom,
Limiting the current should not be the issue (over voltage can be a
problem but not current)  but there is common problem with some of the
"screwdriver" type antennas.  When they reach the limit of travel at
one end or the other, the motor will draw more current (and possibly
buzz) and maybe blow a fuse.   One trick some people have used is to
put an automotive tail light bulb in series with the motor.  It will
limit the current and also get bright when the limit is reached (draws
more current).

You K1 is protected against over current so again as long as the
voltage is in range you should have not worries.
