[Elecraft] Product idea: K2 front dust cover

We're considering whether to offer a custom K2 front panel cover. It
would keep dust and little hands out, and might include "Elecraft K2"
and the operator's call sign embossed on the top or front. The cover
would snap-fit over the pan-head screws on the top, bottom, and/or sides
of the rig, similar to Tektronix scope covers. ("Aha," you say, "so
that's why they used pan-heads!"). It would fit snugly over the front
panel controls. And of course it would look cool.

Due to the expected low volume of this product, it would have to be
machined (milled) rather than cast or formed. Thus it would be on the
expensive side, but this would allow for customization as mentioned
above. The material would be plastic of some type, possibly even
transparent or translucent, but we haven't gotten that far with the
concept yet.

If you'd be interested in such a product, let us know. Please include an
upper limit of what you'd expect to pay for it. This will give us some
idea of whether it's feasible and in what material and quantity.
