[Elecraft] Product idea: K2 front dust cover

Wayne,

  I think it would be a great idea, particularly for protecting the front
panel when traveling. Maybe a smoke colored Lexan or something that would be
the same shade as the K2. An alternative to the snap-on idea would be one
that screws on using longer top (or bottom) side screws, and his hinged with
a full width brass hinge so it can "fold" up (or down) out of the way for
operating. This way, there are no "loose" parts; just fold down (or up) to
snap shut on the other set of cover screws.

   It might be a good idea to offer the user's callsign in silver or gold
colored filling so that it stood out against the smoke gray color in
addition to the Electraft logo/name.
