Hey Elecraft, I'd think a KAT2/100, which should fit into the bottom of the
EC2 holding the KPA100 lid, would inded be a neat idea, and I assume not too
difficult to do, using the KAT2 design as a starting point.

And/or a matching power supply. However this one might get tricky because of
all the different mains voltages on this earth, and all the regulations
involved playing with lethal voltages....
