I've not been following all the interim stuff, just waiting for the 
"final answer" and announcement.

But that does suggest that anyone whose ultimate and only goal is a 
K2/100 should not buy a KIO2 first: Right?

In my case it is still a question re do I really want to go to 100 W 
with my K2 -- and, if so, how I will deal with the ATU issue..
