Hello John,
I don't have a SWR bridge which can measure the difference between 1.0 and
1.1. But I want to measure the SWR of a homebrewed 1:4 balun (built inside
the K2). My display says 1.0:1. If this value near 1.1 (i.e. 1.09) so I
want to adjust the correct wire position on the core a little bit. If the
value near 1.0 (i.e. 1.04 or less) so I'm happy. ;o)
Yes, in principle you are right and one can neglect this difference. Thus I
WILL use the balun and WILL NOT think now no more about the possible small
error.
