I already ordered one to play with.  And I'm working on a board for the upconverter.  I always wanted one of those fancy bandscope gadgets!  I did some browsing on YouTube, and there's quite a few demonstrations of this thing.

Has anyone taken a good look at page 30 of the new QST yet?  It describes a
$20 little USB gadget for picking up broadcast TV on your computer, that can be rigged to function as an SDR receiver.  The frequency range is vhf to 1.7 gig, but there's also a simple upconverter design that makes it useful on the HF bands. To me, this looks like gold!  Any other opinions?
