Not sure. I will have a look. Might check on ebay, too.

As far as I can tell, it’s the same one they used for the pictures on the
QST Article.

I’m also working on using Eagle CAD to design a board for the upconverter.
Once it’s designed, I just email the files to some place in china, and they
send me a handful of printed boards for super cheap, so I will have a few of
them to make kits out of. I ordered 2 of the USB toys. I will leave one of
them on stock frequencies, and upconvert the other one for use on HF.

For me, it’s about situational awareness. It’s about being able to see the
entire band, and know what is where. That’s just too valuable to pass up
for this kind of price!

I already ordered one to play with. And I'm working on a board for the
upconverter. I always wanted one of those fancy bandscope gadgets! I did
some browsing on YouTube, and there's quite a few demonstrations of this
thing.

Has anyone taken a good look at page 30 of the new QST yet? It describes a
$20 little USB gadget for picking up broadcast TV on your computer, that can
be rigged to function as an SDR receiver. The frequency range is vhf to 1.7
gig, but there's also a simple upconverter design that makes it useful on
the HF bands. To me, this looks like gold! Any other opinions?
